"It’s not a holiday without good food…

In Ardenne Bleue we serve food in all its natural goodness!

"Begin your gastronomic journey with some charcuterie from Montenau or from the Aubel region. Unless you prefer a few slices of lefgot, or some pâté from Spa.

"Then move on to some game or some trout from Amblève, washed down with a glass of beer from Val-Dieu, Bobeline or Pisseroule. Unless you prefer a plate of "Chou de Jalhay", or a good "Tchev´neye", which the people of Mont-Dison have long championed.

"Herve cheese will then announce its presence by the piquant aroma it gives out. But this is just for show. Spread it by itself on a thick slice of home baked bread which has been coated with apple or pear syrup! The Herve will then show you how mild it is.

"Then move on to the desserts: a slice of rice cake from Verviers, some pastries from Malmedy or a piece of "Vautchon" cake.

"You can then finish your meal in bliss with a small glass of Elixir de Spa, wine made with the flowers of the Franchimont region or pèket.

"And finally you can take to the road again, blissful but safe…
because your last glass will have sparkled with Spa or Bru water."
