The Hautes Fagnes
« As the poet Julos Beaucarne says : 'The Fagne is our Siberia'.
"And it is true that there is not such a landscape for hundreds of miles around. An arid plateau - yet waterlogged - stretching out of sight, which overlooks the entire area around it. For the Hautes Fagnes also host Botrange which, with its 694 meters above sea level, the highest point remains the Benelux.
"Because it is exceptional, the landscape of the Hautes Fagnes is also protected. At the heart of the Natural Park they are with the German Eifel, the Hautes Fagnes also home to a wildlife reserve where enjoy special protection.
